"An Exorcist Explains The Demonic: The antics of Satan and his army of fallen angels" by Fr. Gabriele Amorth with Stefano Stimamiglio

From the known exorcist of the Diocese of Rome himself, Fr. Gabriele Amorth shares his insight on the antics of Satan and his army to snare souls.  As they say, "knowledge is power".  Being aware of this "traps" is one item in our armor in our spiritual battle.

Random thought:  Per Fr. Amorth, Satan's greatest success is making people believe that he doesn't exist.  Thus, what one can learn from this book--Satan's and his army of fallen angels'  antics--we are made aware of their "strategies", to "arm" ourselves and defeat them as they try to ruin souls.

Where does the Evil One dwell in the human body? ..."To put it simply as possible, demons influence our body or one part of it without locating themselves in that particular organ or limb."

Random thought:  Thanks to the horror movies being churned out by Hollywood, we have a misconception of how these demons attack.  But come to think of it, isn't Hollywood becoming the tool of Satan?  From movies, television shows, to music.  There were even talks of celebrities selling their souls for fame and fortune.

Every page of Fr. Amorth's book is a revelation.  Although for some, they may already have an idea on some of the topics as they do their own research.  If one is interested, best to read through the book.

Sharing here a prayer in the book.

Prayer for Deliverance
(approved for the laity)

My Lord, You are all powerful, You are God, You are Father.
We beg You through the intercession and help of
the Archangels Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel
for the deliverance of our brothers and sisters
who are enslaved by the Evil One.
All saints of heaven, come to our aid.

From anxiety, sadness, and obsessions,
we beg You, free us, O Lord.
From hatred, fornication, envy,
we beg You, free us, O Lord.
From thoughts of jealousy, rage, and death,
we beg You, free us, O Lord.
From every thought of suicide and abortion,
we beg You, free us, O Lord.
From every form of sinful sexuality,
we beg You, free us, O Lord.
From every division in our family, and every harmful friendship,
we beg You, free us, O Lord.
From every sort of evil spell, malefice, witchcraft, and ever form of occult,
we beg You, free us, O Lord.

Lord, You who said, "I leave you peace, my peace I give you," grant that, through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, we may be liberated from every evil spell and enjoy Your peace always.  In the name of Christ, our Lord.  Amen.

"Champions Of The Rosary" by Donald H. Calloway, MIC

"In Champions of the Rosary , Fr. Calloway has written what is probably the most comprehensive book ever written on the rosary. The author deftly negotiates the complexities of the story of the rosary, weaving the historical, theological, and devotional strands into a veritable masterpiece of scholarship and piety. This book should turn every one of its readers into a champion of the rosary." Archbishop J. After the Black Plague, at the latter part of the Middle Ages, is the second half of the Hail Mary, which provided the "hope-filled" dimension of the prayer: that Mary would pray for them "at the hour of their death," but also pray for them "now" in their current, dire situation.
